Softengi, an award-winning provider of innovative software solutions for international and domestic industry leaders, is proud to announce that one of the largest retailers in Ukraine and our most esteemed clients – ATB-Market, has made a notable step toward digital transformation with the release of its new mobile application.   

Softengi’s development team, led by Sergii Solomakha, made a significant contribution to the success of this ambitious project that set a goal to transform a traditional online marketplace into a thriving ATB-Market services ecosystem.

After winning a tender, clarifying documentation, and establishing project details, Softengi began the development process of a complex cross-platform application that supports a variety of Android and iOS devices. We used React Native to create a super-app that can provide a superior shopping experience to thousands of users per hour, making it one of our most high-load solutions to date. 

As a part of the existing e-commerce business environment, the super-app can swiftly integrate services from ATB-Market’s partners in banking, transportation, healthcare, or other industries, allowing users to comfortably solve various needs within the app beyond groceries – from buying train tickets to purchasing health products. The new application has already been downloaded 415,000 times in the App Store and 100,000 times in Google Play.

Besides leveraging push notifications, electronic checks, and third-party service integrations, the application relies on gamification to improve the user experience. One such integration powered by AR capabilities has already proven successful among ATB-Market’s clients, laying the foundation for future gamification initiatives based on the super-app concept.

Due to the nature of the application, it has to process and store a large amount of sensitive user information. With that in mind, Softengi developed a cutting-edge backend system for user authorization and personal data protection, which lives up to the highest security standards that are implemented by ATB-Market in all its solutions.   

Following the recent successful release, ATB-Market has already made strategic plans to continue modernizing its application with additional functionality, novel gamification features, and resilient backend architecture. In 2024-2025, Softengi will be actively engaged in implementing these efforts within the framework of a long-time technological partnership with ATB-Market.
