Senior DevOps Engineer

Softengi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for the project of the leading Ukrainian telecommunications company!

Required skills and experience:

5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, and ArgoCD.
Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Portainer, Kubernetes, Rancher.
Solid experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and virtualization platforms such as VMware (virtualization, infrastructure management).
Experience with OS RedHat linux (CentOS/Fedora/Oracle Linux).
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation using Terraform.
Experience developing automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
Experience with Grafana, Kibana , Prometheus, ELK Stack, Kafka/Zookeeper.
Experience working with source control systems and development tools such as Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
Experience with Maven, Gradle, JMeter, Mock-Servrer.
Experience with MariaDB, Oracle, Cassandra DB, Redis.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, REST APIs, HTTP, TCP, LDAP, SMPP, and client-server communication principles.
Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems architectures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment and collaborate closely with development teams.
Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

Nice to Have:

Experience in software development (2+ years).
Knowledge of Java (Core, Java 8/17).
Experience with Postman and API testing.
Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Experience writing technical documentation.
Experience working with support and incident management systems.
Higher technical education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
