Middle DevOps Engineer

Description of the project:

Softengi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Middle DevOps Engineer for the project of the leading Ukrainian telecommunications company!

Required skills and experience:

3+ years of proven commercial experience as a DevOps engineer
Critical thinking and strong requirements analyzing skills
Quick learning and desire for self-development
Strong knowledge and real practical experience with CI/CD processes,
Experience python/groovy/bash
Experience with Grafana, Kibana , Prometheus, ELK Stack, Kafka/Zookeeper
Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Portainer, Kubernetes, Rancher
Experience with OS RedHat linux (CentOS/Fedora/Oracle Linux)
Experience with VMware (virtualization, infrastructure management)
Experience with GIT/Gitlab, Jira, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Artifactory, –°I/CD tools ( gitlab-ci, jenkins, ansible, argocd)
Experience with Maven, Gradle, JMeter, Mock-Servrer
Knowledge and real practical experience with IaC-approach / Teraform
Experience with MariaDB, Oracle, Cassandra DB, Redis
Experience with AWS
Knowledge of REST over HTTP, TCP, SMPP, LDAP, OSI Session Protocols
Understanding of client-server and microservices architectures
Knowledge of testing methodologies
Basic automation skills (java is a plus + postman)

Desirable:

Higher technical education or other relevant experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment in tight collaboration with a development team
Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment, readiness to learn in the direction of automation
English is spoken and written at the intermediate level or higher
2 years of software development
Knowledge with Java (Core, Java 8/17)
Experience with writing technical documentation
Experience with support systems
