Softengi is a custom software development company. We’re building a reliable inbound lead channel and helping more US buyers discover our services. We’re looking for an SEO specialist who can understand our buyers and sales process, then focus our efforts on opportunities likely to bring qualified leads.
You’ll work with our marketing team and an AI-assisted SEO workflow. AI agents already help with research, audits, keyword clustering, and reporting. Your role is to set direction, check the quality of their work, and make the decisions that require experience and business judgment.
Working arrangement:
This is a freelance, remote, part-time role of 15–20 hours per week. You should be based in Ukraine or an EU time zone and available for calls around 15:00–18:00 Kyiv time to overlap with our US team.
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of SEO experience, including a strong track record in B2B or IT services.
- Real, verifiable results promoting software development or IT outsourcing companies to the US market.
- Strong technical SEO skills and a solid understanding of search intent and SERP analysis.
- Strategic and commercial judgment: you can adapt SEO practices to a specific business rather than follow a generic checklist.
- Experience measuring SEO’s contribution to leads and pipeline.
- Hands-on experience with Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.
- Practical experience using AI tools or agents in SEO, including knowing when their output needs to be challenged or verified.
- Experience with B2B link building and digital PR.
- Experience with GEO and visibility in AI-generated answers.
- Upper-intermediate or better English for written and spoken communication, and native Ukrainian.
*Experience with HubSpot or another CRM, lead attribution, or working directly with founders, CMOs, or sales teams would be a plus.
What you’ll own:
- Build and refine our SEO strategy for the US market around our services, ideal customers, competitors, and sales cycle.
- Prioritize opportunities using search demand, buyer intent, SERP analysis, and our ability to offer a credible answer.
- Review AI-generated research, recommendations, and content; catch weak assumptions and improve the workflows behind them.
- Guide technical and on-page SEO so the site is easy to crawl, well structured, and fast.
- Develop our visibility in Google and AI-driven search, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Connect SEO work to qualified leads, MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline—not just traffic or rankings.
- Explain recommendations and results clearly to the marketing team and management, including what to do next and why.
